Community
Our lawyers are experts in their field and we recognise that we have a responsibility to put that expertise to use in the broader community. The firm is a member of the Public Interest Law Clearing House and has a carefully targeted pro bono program.
We are proud of our community work, including the financial support we provide to a number of charities, such as the Steve Waugh Foundation. The Foundation was established in 2007 to assist children with an illness or an affliction that does not meet the criteria of other charitable organisations.
We also have links to schemes in other countries such as the German rechtsreferendar program, under which we periodically employ German graduate lawyers completing their training as foreign legal interns.
We sponsor prizes at the University of New South Wales for outstanding students in intellectual property and in property and equity. |
