Fiona Phillips      
   
 


Before joining Banki Haddock Fiora in 2011 Fiona, a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of Australia, had nearly 20 years’ experience advising government and the private sector in copyright, trade practices and general commercial law.

She was previously the head of a team of lawyers advising the Regulatory Affairs Division of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and head lawyer to the Australian Energy Regulator, providing policy and legal advice in relation to copyright, water, energy and a range of other industries.

Prior to that she was Principal Legal Officer, Copyright Law Branch of the Attorney-General’s Department, a barrister practising in intellectual property and general commercial law and Associate to the Hon. Justice Gaudron, High Court of Australia.

Fiona has degrees in arts and law from Monash University.
