Kate Haddock

Kate is one of the foundation partners of the firm. She provides advice on all aspects of copyright management and documents transactions relating to dealings with copyright properties.

Kate also conducts litigation and manages disputes and enforcement proceedings relating to copyright and trade practices, in particular in the music industry. She has extensive experience in the Copyright Tribunal. Her clients include collecting societies, publishers and other companies with creative interests. She is General Counsel for Australasian Performing Right Association Limited, Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners' Society Limited and Australasian Music Publishers’ Association Limited.

In March 2008 the Australian Financial Review included Kate in its Best Lawyers of Australia list.

She has degrees in arts and law from the University of Sydney.
