Peter Knight

Peter is a partner with over 25 years experience in information technology and intellectual property industries, in commercial advice and contract preparation and negotiation, as well as litigation and dispute resolution. He has represented for many years a number of large and small IT hardware and software suppliers, as well as acquirers of IT solutions in government, financial institutions and general corporate sectors, including website development and maintenance. Peter also has extensive experience in all aspects of distribution and other supply contracts for goods and services and contracts for the, development, licensing and commercialisation of intellectual property, including trade practices compliance.

Peter joined Banki Haddock Fiora in 2009. He was previously a partner of a national firm, after being in-house counsel for Apple Inc and its subsidiaries in Australia and Asia.
He has been repeatedly recommended as a leading lawyer in information technology and intellectual property by publications such as Chambers Global and The Asia Pacific Legal 500.

Peter has bachelorates in arts and law from the University of Sydney and a masters degree in law from the University of London.
