Pro Bono

At Banki Haddock Fiora we believe that it is our responsibility to use our expertise and resources to assist those in legal need. We have a carefully targeted, active pro bono programme that fits with the firm’s values and profile. We assist artists, the vulnerable and distressed – including asylum seekers, and the individuals and organisations who care for them.

We provide legal support on a wide front to Beyond the Orphanage, an Australian charity working in partnership with local communities in Ethiopia and Nepal, sponsoring education and health programmes for orphans. To learn more, please visit the Beyond the Orphanage website.

Banki Haddock Fiora is a long-standing member of Justice Connect, a legal referral organisation that provides access to pro bono legal services by its law firm members to those in need and the community organisations that support them. The firm accepts referrals in its areas of expertise and supports Justice Connect in its asylum seeker and policy reform work. To learn more, please visit the Justice Connect website.

The firm also accepts referrals from the national community legal centre for the arts. To learn more, please visit the Arts Law website.
